ISBN Service
How to get an ISBN (International Standard Book Number)In order for a publication to be recognised by the British Library and entered on its catalogues, it needs an ISBN. If academics publish their work through a commercial publisher, this number is allocated by that publisher; if, as often happens with short reports, working papers, conference proceedings etc, they have the work printed here and issue it directly themselves, they require a number from Anglia Ruskin's allocation of ISBN numbers.
Once a publication has an Anglia Ruskin ISBN it is traceable back to Anglia Ruskin, and it is implicit, although not a legal requirement, that Anglia Ruskin will supply the publication, or details of where to get it on request.
Anglia Ruskin ISBNs are available from
Pam Duncan, University Library, Rivermead. ext 3753, Pamela.Duncan@anglia.ac.uk
We would be grateful if a copy of all Anglia Ruskin publications could be deposited with the University Library.
