To find out if an article has been cited by others, use Web of Science via the Web of Knowledge
Getting information on leading journals with a high impact factor can be complex as metrics used may vary between subjects. The following may be useful:
Journal Citation Reports(JCR) can be used to help measure the influence and impact of research journals by comparing them with each other based on article citation rates. The Library subscribes to both Science and Social Science citation reports via the Web of Knowledge database in the Digital Library
