What is the VLE?
The VLE replaces WebCT for most modules and contains module information, guides, lecture notes, collaboration and discussion areas.How do I access VLE?
You will need to log in to My.Anglia first using your student username and main account password. The link to VLE is on the student page under Application Links. Please note: On clicking the link it might ask you to login again. If this is the case you will need to use the format Anglia\xyz123 for your username.
How do I find my module information?
After you log in, click the relevant link to your module. (Faculty of education students use the link ‘Click Here to access Faculty of Education Live Modules’).In your module, on the left you will see links to:
- Module guide - includes assessment criteria
- Module content - weekly guide to your module and assessment
- Module documents – additional materials and presentations
- Shared documents – an area to upload documents for sharing
- Web links
- Announcements
- Calendar
- Discussion Board
- Wiki pages – self edited content
- Blog – for posts and comments
- Surveys
The VLE content and the way it is used will be unique to each module and is managed by the module tutor.
What if I’m unable to access my modules?
If you attempt to access a specific module for which you do not have permission, there is a link on the page to request access.If your modules are not showing you need to contact your Learning Technologist to request access to your modules. Who to contact will depend on your faculty:
