A-level or equivalent Student access to Anglia Ruskin University Library
Letter of introductionThe letter should be on college headed paper. It should be signed by a senior member of college staff and include their email and telephone number.
The letter should also include:
- The name of the student
- The course of study, with start and end dates
- Confirmation that the signatory will act as our point of contact should there be any queries or issues concerning the student or their use of Anglia Ruskin facilities
- Confirmation that the student is aware that they need to present the letter and their college ID card, and to sign in, whenever they want to use one of our libraries
- Confirmation that the student has read and understood our policy on access by members of the public at http://libweb.anglia.ac.uk/others/public_services.htm
The letter should have as an attachment the student’s own statement of
- the type of material they wish to consult in our library*
- the sources they have used to date to try to access this material**
- anything else they wish to say in support of their request to use our facilities.
The letter should not be sent to us, but should be carried by the student whenever they visit one of our libraries.
