By the end of this module, you will be able to:

• understand concepts related to privacy and security in the electronic environment
• understand concepts related to censorship and freedom of speech
• apply accepted practices e.g. Netiquette
• understand what information you can legally copy under UK law and the concept of fair use and intellectual property
• understand what constitutes plagiarism and know the importance of and how to correctly acknowledge the work and ideas of others.
