Extensive online access to current and archived newspapers from across the UK and rest of the world is available through InfoTrac Newsstand.

Historical Newspapers

Gale Primary Sources includes the following collections:
  • 17th-18th Century Burney Collection Newspapers: digitised versions of the newspapers, pamphlets, and books gathered by the Reverend Charles Burney (1757-1817) which represent the largest and most comprehensive collection of early English news media
  • 19th Century British Library Newspapers: contains full runs of influential national and regional newspapers, representing different political and cultural segments of 19th century British society
  • Times Digital Archive, 1785-2012: online, full-text facsimile of more than 200 years of The Times newspaper.
