Requesting Anglia Ruskin Library Items
You can reserve items on the shelves at other Anglia Ruskin Library sites, or on loan to other Library users by finding the item you need through library “Quick Search”, and then enter your University login username and password. More information about reserving is noted on the screen as you do this. Please note you cannot reserve titles that you already have on loan or make multiple reservations for the same title. When the item is available at the site you have chosen, you will get an email telling you that you can collect it. You will be provided with the first available copy. You will need your student card to have the item issued.
You can also request photocopies of articles held in print at other Anglia Ruskin libraries. To do this go into the library website “Journal Finder”, find the journal volume or issue you need, click on the “Photo” on the left hand side of the line, then entering your University login username and password, then fill in the details of the article you need. When the photocopy is available to collect at the site you have chosen, you will get an email telling you that you can collect it. When you collect the photocopy you will be charged 5p per A4 sheet and will be asked to sign a copyright declaration form.
You can also request photocopies of articles held in print at other Anglia Ruskin libraries to be sent in the post to you. Complete the attached form and send the form and payment to your home site (addresses of the site libraries are on our "Libraries and Opening Hours" pages)with the fee of £2.00 for each article requested.
Please ask for more information about this at your library reception desk or contact us via the online enquiries form .
Books in demand
You told us that you couldn't get hold of popular items, so we have shortened loan lengths for standard loan items when they are in demand. These will be loaned for 7 days, thus providing a quicker turnaround.
Always check your receipt for the date of return, as standard loans will be loaned for only 7 days in these circumstances.
This will not apply to materials loaned for 70 days.
