Logging in to the University LibraryYou should use your regular University Login username (e.g. ab1 or abc101) and password to login to the Library website, access e-resources or where otherwise required (on this website). This is the same login used to access university PCs. If you need help with your University Login, please contact the Library Helpdesk firstname.lastname@example.org (students only) or ITS email@example.com (staff).
University StaffStaff need to register with the University Library to access resources (Including staff at Associate Colleges teaching Anglia Ruskin students). See our Membership and Access Page for details on how to register.
Other (not University staff or student) members of the LibraryIf you are a SCONUL Access, Alumni, Student Union Officer, Retired Anglia Ruskin staff, Associate Tutor/Mentor, or Associate Phd student member of the University Library, you should login to your library account to search the catalogue, reserve items, renew loans and check your due dates etc.
Your Self-Service PINTo use the Library's self-service machines you'll need to use a special password (as well as your student or staff ID card).
Students: Your self-service PIN is derived from the day and month of your date of birth. So, if your DOB is 17 August it will be 1708. If you are a returning student your password should not have changed.
Staff (& other categories of membership): We will set a PIN when you register with us.
