Self-Service

Ask Us When the Library is open for self-service only...

You may:
  • Borrow books using the self-service machine
  • Return books using the self-service machine
  • Renew and reserve books via the library catalogue
  • Photocopy
  • Use computers to word process, email, use the internet etc
  • Have access to books, journals, videos and all other main stock items
  • Pay fines using the self payment machine attached to some of the self-service machines
But you can't:
  • Pay fines by credit card
  • Have books issued if you owe money
  • Have the assistance of library staff for subject work
  • Use Short Loan Collection
  • Pay for or collect interlibrary loan requests
